Little Aprons Cookery Club is a children's cookery school based in Ferryhill, County Durham, offering weekly interactive cookery classes and holiday classes, as well as classes for organisations in the community.
Our cooking classes are taught by fully qualified teachers with decades of experience and are suitable for ages 4+, teaching children through hands-on experience the important skills of preparing and making a wide range of dishes, as well as learning about the food science and nutrition behind the products. Children will create a different product each week, which will be taken home for all of the family to enjoy!
We are passionate about teaching children to cook as we believe it is a transformative and empowering experience that positively impacts their lives in numerous ways. By sharing our love for cooking with children, we aim to inspire them to develop a lifelong appreciation for food, nutrition and the joy of creating meals. We are driven by the belief that cooking is not just a practical skill, but also a powerful tool for promoting health, independence, creativity and cultural awareness. We are dedicated to equipping children with the knowledge and confidence to make healthy choices, express their creativity, and build strong connections with their families through shared experiences of cooking. We believe that teaching children to cook goes beyond the kitchen - it instils important life skills, fosters a sense of accomplishment and empowers them to lead healthier, more self-sufficient lives.
Our passion lies in nurturing a love for cooking in children and witnessing the positive impact it has on their overall well-being and development.
